Conference Overview
The second Pathways to Development Conference, held in December 2023, addressed critical issues of economic growth, poverty reduction, and widening inequalities. These disparities undermined social cohesion and trust in governance, posing challenges to societal stability and development. The conference invited papers on Inequalities and Social Justice in economics, sociology, politics, and political economy, aiming to find solutions to these challenges in Pakistan and the region. Submissions were encouraged on various dimensions within themes like public health, education, gender, climate change, political participation, and urban development.
