Conference Overview
The inaugural Pathways to Development Conference in December 2022 focused on equitable and sustainable development in Pakistan. Featuring 22 panel sessions over three days, the event brought together over 50 academics, practitioners, and policymakers. Keynote speakers included Dr. Ghazala Mansuri (World Bank) and Dr. Leonard Wantchekon (Princeton University), alongside scholars from leading international and local universities. Hosted jointly by IDEAS, LUMS, IDS Sussex, CDPR, IGC, and CERP, the conference facilitated multidisciplinary discussions on critical development challenges.
